Ella Purnell has made an appearance at this year’s CCXP25 alongside her co-stars Walton Goggins and Aaron Moten to discuss the upcoming season of “Fallout” in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

With a premiere scheduled for December 17th, the new season promises to expand the universe already presented in the first year, deepening conflicts, expanding scenarios, and bringing elements even more connected to the classic mythology of the Fallout games. The panel highlighted that a large part of the narrative will be guided by the peculiar “road trip” of Lucy and The Ghoul. The relationship between the two, initially tense and marked by distrust, should evolve slowly and organically, moving towards a kind of friendship built through sheer force, in the dust and chaos of the Wasteland.

One of the biggest highlights revealed at the panel is that the plot will now focus on the city of New Vegas, bringing one of the franchise’s most iconic settings to the center of the story. One of them is Robert Edwin House, played by Justin Theroux, the city’s leader. For those who don’t remember… He briefly appeared at the end of the first season of the series.

Fans can expect new monsters, directly inspired by classic creatures from the games, and more violent rival factions, expanding the political and social map of the post-apocalypse.

New environments, mixing neon, radiation, and chaos, as well as direct references to established elements of the franchise, now adapted to the series’ narrative.

The second season of Fallout promises to elevate everything that worked in the premiere: acidic humor, stylized violence, impeccable setting, and human relationships forged under pressure.

Ella Purnell returned home to London for the Season Two screening of Fallout at Picturehouse Central on tuesday night, December 2, in London, England. She also did tons of press and also attended the photocall for the upcoming season.

The series has garnered plenty of attention, with many eager to find out what is to come. The first season garnered an approval rating of over 90% on Rotten Tomatoes. Back in May, it was confirmed that the show would get picked up for a third season.

The premiere of the next season of Fallout comes out on Prime Video on December 17. New episodes will be released on the streaming platform weekly after that, until February 4, 2026.

Prime Video hosted the Australian Special Screening of Season Two of Fallout, at Hoyts Entertainment Quarter Sydney on Monday, November 24.

Kicking off the global tour in Sydney, the screening was attended by series cast members Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten and Walton Goggins and producer Noreen O’Toole.

Before the screening, the cast participated in a Q&A hosted by David Campbell and shared what audiences can expect in the second season due on December 17.

Ella and cast members also attended the photocall the next day and throughout their stay, they did several interviews and lot of press promoting the upcoming season.

Pete Davidson (The King of Staten Island) and Ella Purnell (Fallout) have signed on to star in That Time We Met, a “cosmic romantic comedy” directed by Nick Lieberman (Theater Camp) from a screenplay written by Mitchell Winkie (The Ultimate Playlist of Noise).

WME Independent will launch sales on the film at the upcoming American Film Market.

That Time We Met follows a new couple that discovers their unborn child is destined to save the future of humanity. The only problem is they’ve just had their first date and now they hate each other.

Purnell is a British actress. She recently received the Madame Figaro Rising Star Award at the 2024 Canneseries Festival. She can be seen starring as Lucy MacLean in the post-apocalyptic drama series Fallout for Amazon Prime Video. Co-created by Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner and developed by Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan, the series premiered on April 11, 2024, and will return on December 17, 2025.

The first teaser trailer for the upcoming season was revealed at Gamescom 2025, the world’s largest gaming event, and it unveiled some intriguing foes for the main characters to go up against. The eight-episode second season will be released weekly from December 17 until the finale on February 4, 2026.

Fans also got the first look at the terrifying post-apocalyptic predators, the Deathclaw. The characters of Lucy (Purnell), Maximus (Moten), and The Ghoul (Goggins) travel from the Mojave wasteland to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas.

Sky and STARZ announced that filming has begun in London on the second season of the critically acclaimed, darkly comic Sky Original thriller Sweetpea. Ella Purnell returns as wallflower-turned-killer Rhiannon Lewis.

Rish Shah (Overcompensating, Joy) joins the cast as Rhiannon’s romantic interest, Gabriel, alongside Tamsin Greig, who stars as AJ’s mother, Liv. Taj Atwal (Riot Women, Line of Duty) steps in as Freya, Rhiannon’s formidable new boss at the Carnsham Gazette, while Jenny Walser (Heartstopper, Star City) plays an adoring new friend, Daisy.

A synopsis for the new season reads: “Killer wallflower Rhiannon Lewis is back in season 2 of the iconically brazen and darkly comic thriller. Navigating a new promotion, an irresistible rebound, Marina still hot on her trail, her sister selling her family home and a copycat killer threatening to expose her, the kill list is mounting. But now that she’s harnessed her rage and found her power, Rhiannon is forced to question whether her perfect ex AJ, was right: is she a monster?”

“We are thrilled that ‘Sweetpea’ and the world of Carnsham are back in full swing for season two, with new and exciting characters for what promises to be an intoxicating ride for Rhiannon as she continues on her murderous journey,” executive producers Ella Purnell, Ella Jones and Patrick Walters said in a statement. “This season, the stakes are even higher, and as the consequences of her actions begin to close in, questions of morality and justice will come into play.”
